Star Marine | The Beginnings of Star Marine Interior Company

Star Marine, formerly known as Duy Nhat Trading and Engineering Company (TTech Co., Ltd.), was established in 2009. In its early days, the company specialized in technical consulting and supplying equipment for new shipbuilding, as well as installing interiors for passenger ships, oil service vessels, and producing and installing wooden interiors on ships.

Star Marine’s clients include major shipyards such as Ba Son Shipyard, Hong Ha Shipyard, Hai Long Shipyard, and Saigon Shipyard, among others. The company has also collaborated with Macplan Plt Ltd in the installation of ship interiors and the production of wooden furniture for a series of service vessels built in Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau.

The Development Journey

Originally operating as Duy Nhat Trading and Engineering Company, the firm rebranded in 2013 as Sao Bien Interior Company (Star Marine). With this transformation, Star Marine shifted its focus to manufacturing ergonomic mesh office chairs, waiting room chairs, passenger seats for ships, and high-quality natural wood furniture for export.

Star Marine is known for its modern designs, comfort, and high-quality products, which have been exported to numerous countries worldwide.

The company is backed by Mr. Peter Tam, CEO, who has over 30 years of experience in the interior industry. Under his leadership, Star Marine has gained a strong reputation and the trust of its customers.

Star Marine’s ergonomic mesh office chair showroom is located at 28 Street 5C, Trung Son Residential Area, Binh Hung Commune, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The company operates a 5,000m² factory equipped with advanced CNC machinery and employs a team of 100 skilled workers. With this setup, Star Marine has a production capacity of up to 15 containers per month.

Star Marine primarily utilizes high-quality materials, including:

• Aluminum alloy profile frames and premium elastic mesh fabric for manufacturing ergonomic office chairs, waiting room chairs, and ship passenger seats.
• Oak, ash, poplar, pine, and acacia wood for producing high-end export furniture, such as dining sets, living room furniture, and bedroom furniture.

The company serves global markets, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Products are shipped from Ho Chi Minh City, with a delivery time of 45 to 60 days.
